Winter Aid in Lebanon and Jordan
The winter months bring even greater hardship for refugees across Lebanon and Jordan. Substandard living conditions in refugee camps leave families exposed to the cold, wind and floods, and the lives of vulnerable individuals, including children, the elderly and people with disabilities are at greater risk as temperatures plummet.
Thank you for this aid; the water has been seeping through our roof and destroyed our belongings. You have given my children the chance to stay warm in this cold weather, my Allah (swt) reward you for your kindness.
Khalid, Shatila Refugee Camp, Lebanon.
Every winter, UK Care for Children provides families across Lebanon and Jordan with cash assistance blankets, clothes, weather-proofing materials, heaters and other relief items.
