International Day of Charity

Today, on International Day of Charity, we would like to thank all our donors for their ongoing show of compassion and support for struggling refugee families across Lebanon and Jordan.

It has been a tumultuous year for families in our areas of operation; one month after the massive port explosion which tore through Lebanon’s capital Beirut, poverty has been on the rise in a country that was already grappling with economic instability and the Covid-19 Crisis.

In Jordan, the pandemic has caused further misery for refugees already struggling with poverty; many have lost their jobs are unable to afford the most basic food supplies.

Your support has enabled us to provide financial aid and food supplies to families in urgent need across our areas of operation, especially those affected the Covid-19 Crisis and last month’s explosion in Beirut.

We hope that you will keep our beneficiaries in your thoughts on this day, and if you would like to find out more about our work in the field, please call us now on 0203 137 6951.
